Sample Edit We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a full-time YouTube Video Editor to create engaging long-form explainer videos, podcast clips, and podcast content.

What You’ll Do

• Turn podcast/interview recordings into 3–10 minute YouTube videos.
• Produce approximately 25–30 videos per month (around 1/day).
• Identify strong topics, insights, and moments from long conversations.
• Edit videos with strong pacing, storytelling, B-roll, graphics, text, animations, sound design, and visual variety.
• Edit occasional full client podcasts (1–2/month), including camera switching, intros/outros, graphics, and sound cleanup.
• Repurpose the client’s appearances on other podcasts into standalone YouTube videos.
• Gradually take ownership of identifying content opportunities without detailed instructions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong YouTube editing and storytelling skills.
• Ability to turn raw conversations into engaging videos, not just simple podcast cuts.
• Good understanding of pacing, retention, and visual storytelling.
• Comfortable with B-roll, motion graphics, text, animations, zooms, cuts, and sound design.
• Able to consistently deliver high-quality videos on a daily basis.
• Takes feedback well and continuously improves.
• Interested in a long-term, full-time role.

Initially, we’ll work closely with you to establish our editing style and help you understand what content works for our audience. Over time, you’ll be expected to work independently and take full ownership of the editing process.

Salary

INR 25,000 – 50,000 / month

P.S. If you’re interested, we’ll send you a raw video for a paid trial edit. You’ll be paid for the trial, and if we like your work, we’ll move forward with the full-time role.
